KADi Move Better. Ride Fair.

Privacy Policy

KADI Mobility Technologies Limited  |  Effective 29 September 2026

KADI helps people in Nigeria book rides and deliveries. To do that, we need some information about you. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

The KADI app is run by KADI Mobility Technologies Limited, a company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria. Our office is at 29 Ediba Road, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria.

We are responsible for your personal information under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable Nigerian law.

2. What we collect

Riders and delivery customers

  • Your name and phone number.
  • Pickup and drop-off locations, and the details of each trip or delivery.
  • Ratings and feedback you give or receive.
  • Payment and wallet records (see Payments).

Drivers

  • Your name, phone number and photo.
  • Vehicle details, such as make, model and plate number.
  • Documents we ask for to confirm you can drive safely and legally, such as a driver's licence.
  • Your location while you are online in the app, trip history, earnings and ratings.

Collected automatically

  • Basic device information, such as phone model, operating system and app version.
  • Technical logs that help us fix errors and keep the service secure.

3. How we use it

  • To create your account and confirm your phone number with a one-time code sent by SMS.
  • To match riders with nearby drivers and show each side the other's progress during a trip.
  • To calculate fares, process payments and keep trip and payment records.
  • To provide customer support and handle complaints or disputes.
  • To keep riders, drivers and the service safe, including preventing fraud and misuse.
  • To improve the app and fix problems.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Your location

Location is at the heart of how KADI works.

  • Riders: we use your location to set your pickup point and show your trip on the map. You can type an address instead of sharing your location.
  • Drivers: we collect your location while you are online so we can send you nearby requests and show riders where you are. We stop when you go offline.

You can turn off location access at any time in your phone's settings, but some features, such as matching with a driver, will not work without it.

5. Who we share it with

  • Riders and drivers: during a trip, a driver sees the rider's name, pickup and destination. A rider sees the driver's name, photo, vehicle details and location.
  • Service providers: companies that help us run KADI, such as our database and hosting provider, our SMS provider for login codes, map services and payment processors. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
  • Authorities: when the law requires it, or when needed to protect someone's safety.
  • A new owner: if KADI is merged with or sold to another company, your information may pass to them under this same policy.

Some of our service providers may store information on servers outside Nigeria. When this happens, we take steps required by Nigerian data protection law to keep it protected.

6. Payments

Card and bank payments are handled by licensed payment processors. KADI does not store your full card number. We keep records of payments, wallet balances and transactions so we can show your history, pay drivers and resolve disputes.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. After you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information, except where we must keep some records longer by law, for example trip and payment records needed for tax, accounting, safety or legal claims.

8. Keeping it safe

We use encrypted connections, access controls and trusted providers to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please keep your phone and login codes private. Never share a login code with anyone, including someone claiming to be from KADI.

9. Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you can:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete your information.
  • Object to or ask us to limit how we use your information.
  • Withdraw consent you have given, such as for location access.
  • Ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

10. Deleting your account

In the app: go to your profile and tap Delete my account.

By email: write to kadimobility@gmail.com from any address, with the subject "Delete my KADI account" and the phone number on your account.

Once deleted, you will no longer be able to sign in, and your personal information will be removed as described in How long we keep it.

11. Children

KADI is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as KADI grows. When we make important changes, we will tell you in the app or by SMS, and update the date at the top of this page.
